USB 3.0

This is more to document something new I learnt than to ‘present to the world’ kind of thing.

The current standard USB 2.0, still predominantly found in most new computers, has been in place since 1997. USB 3.0 is 10 times faster than its predecessor. Considering that the computing power and storage capacity has been increasing exponentially – in accordance with Moore’s law – with relative inexpensive cost increase, this was a long time coming.
